Multiscale data model
The multiscale multisource data model allows to store geospatial and semantic data to facilitate its management and understanding. It allows the visualization of relevant information of the Historic Area at different scales.
The main objective of the data model is to integrate complex and heterogeneous data in a unique data model to allow the later visualization of the information at different scale from building to cross-region and to enable the creation of a 3D multiscale data model that will define constructive elements of the urban/region environment with a level of detail accurate enough to visualize, in a friendly way, relevant Cultural Heritage and climate change information.
The report describes how requirements were identified and addressed, analyses reference data models and ontologies and explains the design of the Shelter multiscale, multisource data model.
